Summer 2018

Our favourite wedding of all time, and of course we biased, because this is us! The sun came out for the first time in weeks, and it really meant we got the perfect day. There is not a thing we would have changed. It was filled with love, lots of laughs, and ended with a big party. We hope all your brides and grooms to be have as good-er day as we did!

The Proposal

Rich proposed to Abbey in their own home, with a handmade sign out of copper fairy lights saying "marry my dad... please" with their 6 month old puppy sitting in front! Melt your heart on a Monday moment. Although Abbey knew their were plans in the pipelines (good luck to all those future hubbies who have accountants as their future wives!), Rich still managed to pull off the best surprise ever.

Your Wedding Style

We love a little style, but we like to keep it simple and relatively affordable. That's how Love Club Hire was born, and it's how we intend on continuing to grow our business. Simple elegance.

How did you meet?

I think how Rich began his wedding speech really sums it up best… it all started with sweat, stubbies and bike pants… at boot camp!

What did you save & splurge on?

We really don’t feel like we splurged on much, but Abbey’s dress definitely ended up being more than planned! She didn’t want to spend thousands, and bought a dress which she ended up hating and replacing with one which was significantly more expensive! Literally the only thing she would change and recommends to all gals planning their wedding - make sure you love your dress because it’s what will make you feel so much more special on your day!

The other things we saved on were our place settings (which were just names printed on simple card!)

What’s your biggest piece of advice to other couples planning their weddings?

If you want an amazing, stress free wedding, pick amazing vendors who’s work you love and reputation you trust. They are pros at what they do and do it all the time! Just believe in their talents and be present in every minute
